Ruieze Fields

Open fields and soft grass...
Ruieze stretches far in the midlands of Moladion, laced with streams that feed into Diveen and out of Asteraia at times. The fields are vast, filled with wildflowers and tall, soft grass; trees are sparse, as are rocks, but one can find small shrubs to hide amongst, and the grass itself. To the south of the fields, a Ruieze River widens, and the ground becomes sandy. There is a small, grassy island that can be reached from the banks, with water-birds often congregating on the island rather than the riverbanks.

How long have I been lost?

He observed the woman carefully, she was seemingly stuck in thought. The fact the woman’s violet and golden eyes remain on his left only electricity coursing through his veins. Resisting the urge to look at the sunset woman was growing his torments. He would love nothing more than to touch the sunset woman embrace her and feel her warmth and yet it is his respect and reverence he refuses himself. He could only ponder upon what things the sunset woman is thinking before the silence is broken. Nogitsune allows himself to meet her gaze as it seemed she desired it as such. Much like a dead man coming back from the grave her voice calls to all of his senses. She could awaken any dead or broken spirits, this he was certain of.

Truth, the concept so simple and yet in these moments leave him perplexed. He didn’t question her though. She was of the highest cups, her presence alone was enough to give him a buzz. She was light at least to himself. He imagine her doing wrong to anyone. Perhaps he did’t understand all she meant by truth but the sunset woman was truth enough to him. It is when the woman said he will not be alone that his heart almost skips a beat. He wishes so dearly to allow his gaze to wonder over her every feature absorbing everything as though she would slip away from his existence.

He remains silent waiting for her guidance almost before he responds. “Phaedra, your name is just as lovely and bright as you glow. I would love nothing more than to explore the world in your presence and yet my eyes as wishful as they could do not deserve you. You are like glimpsing a rainbow after a spring shower or a newly bloomed flower, I could gaze upon you until you disappear and would desire nothing more than to experience your beauty and sweet scent again. If you are so kind to allow me to gaze upon you then I will gladly grant you as such.” Perhaps Nogitsune was much to long winded for his own good and yet speaking with Phaedra he could go on about her until the earth itself turned to dust.

It is when he is asked of his blood he tenses slightly. His brothers and sisters would certainly be proud of their bloodline and yet he is too however he could not become the beastly demons his blood called of him. He reavers his mother and father even in death and yet her question is hard for him to answer. “Phaedra, truth and light; I am of Lilith and Andras, a demon of Iromar. I had once called Iromar my home at least. I ask of you goddess of light, do not judge me for my blood. If you wish to judge me do it of your own knowledge and observations of me.” He spoke evenly his gaze never leaving her own. Speaking of his family didn’t give him feeling of empowerment but it did encourage him to be strong and unwavering.

“If I may, please tell me of your blood Phaedra.” The woman had a scent fairly close to that of his dear friend but he refused to assume. As dear as his friend was this woman, Phaedra held a scent much sweeter everything in the natural world she could compare her to paled in comparison to the sunset woman. He simply wished to get lost in her presence and yet it still itched in his mind the fact she could refuse his company which earned an anguished glimmer in his eyes. It was brief in presence for he was a hopeful creature. He was silent waiting for her to speak looking over the woman’s features again often meeting her gaze only allowing an ear twitch to the occasional fluttering of a bird taking flight or a small creature in the rustling bushes. It would be a rather difficult task to actually bring complete attention off of the sunset goddess.
