Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

I enjoy this chance to get a good look and dig my teeth into Eden. He is my brother, is he not? Even if he was born many moons ago, we are of the same blood. I know that I am a bit of an odd one, with fur white and nose pink. There is a purpose for my difference from my own littermates and my other siblings- although I hear my older brother Anselm is of white fur like myself. I have not met this brother though, and he is not around like Eden or Ayal. It is Eden who is with me right now, with his eyes so different than mine and a title to his name. I must dissect him over time, and pull apart his mind to further my own learning and goals.

I let him speak, with him saying that he allowed the name to remain. He claims that the name is now linked to his- that the two are together. It is true that I do not know the name of the previous one who ruled here- but I don't know the name of any of the other alphas. I know the pack names though, and that is a power in itself if the alpha determined the name at their own will. I thought of speaking but he posed a question my way. I smirk at him, my young muzzle lifting up slightly as I primp my chest out a little bit.

"Dear brother, I want to be remembered for all of it, down to the tiniest of details, such as the name. Why would I settle for any less?" I state with my sickeningly sweet voice, green eyes touched with black flecks blinking, gazing into the eyes of Eden if he so allows. Perhaps there is a bit of sweet venom in my voice, but my ambition is of the highest caliber, and I don't plan on just settling. Had my brother just settled? I think so. Does he need to hear it out loud? Maybe not right now. Maybe I have made him question his ways.

Our eyes part and return to the mountain. I keep myself well maintained as I gaze upon them, a dark lust in reflecting in my orbs just as the mountain reflects so delicately in them now. His question turns my white head, and I snort at him.

"Well, if YOU had bothered to change Glorall's name, we would already be one step closer to such a feat," I snap, but childishly so. I won't admit that I am still but a pup- I would like to think that I am just a much smarter than normal pup.

"Who said I was stopping at the mountain anyway? Why stop at Moladion? Isn't there lands...beyond?" I ask, slightly admitting my ignorance on the subject. I had perhaps heard there was lands beyond, but it was not really confirmed or talked about. Such lands may be awful, terrible, and not worthy of our words...but I will let my brother give opinion on that.
