Ruieze Fields

Open fields and soft grass...
Ruieze stretches far in the midlands of Moladion, laced with streams that feed into Diveen and out of Asteraia at times. The fields are vast, filled with wildflowers and tall, soft grass; trees are sparse, as are rocks, but one can find small shrubs to hide amongst, and the grass itself. To the south of the fields, a Ruieze River widens, and the ground becomes sandy. There is a small, grassy island that can be reached from the banks, with water-birds often congregating on the island rather than the riverbanks.

It was subtle, but there was a change occurring in the brindled male. Isolde didn’t notice it at first, but his fangs were sheathed and he no longer growled at her. She didn’t feel threatened by him, instead, she felt a strange safeness about him. It was hard to put the feeling to words so she remained quiet as he tried to understand the situation. Even when he curses, demanding she stop being sorry, she does not say anything. The silence between them stretched for a long time and yet it didn’t feel awkward nor forced. To the young wolfess, the silence was like watching the silent winter snowfall. It was magical and comforting. Was this because they now shared the same soul or was it something else?

When he spoke again, her ears pull forward to show he has her full attention. It wasn’t spoken, but Isolde knew he was not going to hurt her and she allows herself to sit on her haunches. When he compares imprinting to a flea she can’t help but giggle. It is a soft sound, an innocent sound. Though she is an adult, the young princess is still very much a child at heart. Her kind and caring nature inherited from her departed mother. She takes a moment to think of how to answer her soulbound in a way he would understand.

"I know if imprinting because of my parents. They were imprints who chose to become mates because they loved each other. I guess you can say it’s not a thing something gives you, but more of a feeling from your soul. It tells you who your other half is and I guess… you choose me. It can never go away unless," she hesitated a moment as the thought of her deceased parents. While Rhae had been the one murdered, Iblis had died because of the unshakable bond the connected him to her. Isolde knew her father could not live without their mother and she began to wonder if it would be the same for her and Segin. "Death is the only way to rid yourself of an imprint bond. It’s how I lost both of my parents." Did this mean he was going to kill her? Would it even cross his mind. Her dual colored eyes stared at him, wondering what he was thinking and wishing she could better tell him about their situation.
