The snowfall was growing heavier and heavier by the second. Eleanor moved through the woods, her vibrant eyes focused upon a dense copse of trees that would provide shelter from the oncoming snowstorm. She trudged through the already thick snow upon the ground, narrowing her gaze against the buffeting wind. She had slipped out of Iromar and Despoina's den, in the wake of them both becoming knowledgeable of the woman's pregnancy, she had needed to get away for a while. Her scent still clung to her pelt and it seemed as though she would never escape the other's clutches. No, she was too entrenched in their relationship, it had become her whole life. And now it seemed that puppies would be added to the mix.

She wasn't quite sure where to go from here. From a young age she had always dreamed of bringing life into the world, to make up for where her parents had failed her. To be kind, but firm, to watch as they grew but to guide them with a gentle paw. Now Eleanor would have that opportunity, but not with a wolf she ever saw herself being with. They would have to work together to raise the litter- and that would be no small feat.

Eleanor moved towards the trees, crouching within them and huddling against the cold wind. The snowfall was less here with the tree cover, and it was broad enough to fit more than a few wolves. She tipped her head back and let out a howl, letting anyone in the vicinity know that there was a safe place here, out of reach from winter's tendrils. It could be deadly to be caught out in a snowstorm as bad as this; while she hardly desired company, she was aware enough to know that other wolves may desire shelter the same as she had.
