He had retraced his steps, back to the mountain and to the home of his old mentor. What he had found was less than pleasant, and even now he wished to weep bitter tears. But he held them back, because now he was home, within the towering forests of Taviora. Things hadn't seemed to change much in his absence, but there were a myriad of new scents around that made him feel a bit sad that he had been gone for so long. But it had been worth it, or so he thought, to visit his old homes. At least now he knew, truly, that none of the wolves from his past were alive. Nord let out a quiet sigh as he thought of what he had seen and experienced.

On the mountain, all that remained were bones, and if there had been any survivors of the avalanche they would have moved on long ago. He had wished so desperately to see his parents or his littermates still living on the mountain and thriving, but he had had no such luck. But he had accepted that they were dead long ago, and so he had moved on, burying what bones he could before heading down the mountain and towards the home of his old mentor.

And there he had found the old wolf, sick and nearly dead, and Nord had stayed with him until his final moments. It had been tragic to see the strong warrior beset by illness and fatigue. It was then that he cried, for all the loss in the world that he had experienced, before burying his mentor's body and heading to where home truly was- Moladion, and Taviora. Nord walked beneath the trees, his blue eyes looking up at the canopy, his tail wagging slightly. It was good to be home.
