Pine, spruce and firs alike...
Dense coniferous forests cover the woodlands, with clearings, paths and the occasional wildberry shrub throughout. Pine, spruce and fir make up much of the forest in the east, with the forest becoming swampier in the west towards Mecor Valley. In the west, cypress trees dominate, with fallen trees creating bridges across and throughout the stillwaters.

Charolette danced lightly across the snow playing almost a magical dance bouncing gracefully. She was in search of Casandra today; perhaps her sister needed a companion to explore with. She found herself climbing over fallen logs as a heart piercing howl filled the air. She stiffened; “Mother?”. The question was posed mostly to herself.

She took off almost in a flash her paws hardly having time to settle on the cold earth. Charolette was confused the metallic scent was heavy here and only grew worse as she came closer. She noticed her siblings, she didn’t know them well but knew their scent and she all to well knew her mothers and fathers.

She pawed forward in the mist of the two arguing just before the collapsed to the ground. Her eyes caught a glimpse of her father and mother and she gently tried to move to them and nude them unable to express the sorry she felt she still tried to just make them get up she moved to her brother and sister and tried to move them as well. “We need to go home he will get better.” She nodded decisively trying to encourage them to come back with her.

Charlotte lowered her self between her siblings; "Father... he isn't coming home is he?" she looked on desperately, clinging to a little bit of hope that everything would truly be alright that perhaps it was a simple mistake; that mother, father, and all her siblings could come home and be together. She refused to believe that her father was gone. They would be okay they had to be.
