She felt the breaking of bone between her jaws as she continued to chew away her winter frustrations. It did not do much really to lull the desire away that lingered inside of her, but it did ease a bit of the tension that crawled through her body. It was a thing that happened all winters that she can remember at this point, her puppy hood a thing of the distant past. She did not live in the past in these moments, focused only on the task before her.
She was not to be alone on this fine winter day. The snow may have covered the ground, and it may dampen the sounds somewhat, but she still heard the paws of a young one approaching. Her light colored ears moved in the direction of the sound, although she continued to chew for a moment before she finally let her lava pools turn to meet the eyes of the other who decided to come near.
Her eyes that seemed to burn eternally set upon the dark one who had grown much over the cycles of the moon. Her mind know who she is immediately, and she is to be accepted. She lets the dark black leg with shattered bones fall from her mouth. The young one is lowered slightly as she of red and white licks on her lips.
She hears the whine and her tail pats against the cold earth behind her a few simple times. She snorted as her jaws opened. She grasped the red, white, and black fox, and lifted herself up from her laying position. She was always a presence that commanded some respect against the light blue of the sky above- as she certainly stood out even though she was a lithe and light female. Her tail was lifted, but did wag very slightly and softly in the cold air. There is no anger on her visage of white and black eyeliner. She was actually pleased to have another distraction. The fox's face and skull were still intact and lifeless as she dragged it across the ground. She then drops it at the paws of the young one, nosing it towards her. The body was mangled, one leg destroyed and cracked in many places from her chewing. The dear eyes of the fox seem to look towards the young pup. She lowers her jaws to grasp at the head suddenly, pulling the body up as her front legs jump up in the air. She tosses the fox body, catching it in her mouth before she tosses it again- towards the young one, to see if she does indeed catch it with her jaw or if it will fall into the snow.
