Always she had to keep the pack first in her mind. She knew very well that her pack was growing and that meant that the responsibility of the pack increased. There were many young wolves that needed to learn so much until they reached adulthood. The young ones that she had known since she took Asteraia would become full-grown adults in Spring and they would be expected to bring more success for the pack. Cuirass had been working all these years to be the greatest warrior in Asteraia and in Moladion and she was sure that with her teachings he could give himself that title. It was his Father that she had the most concern about. For such an old wolf he was still showing he was useful, showing to the young that he was still here – still capable – and yet his time was soon coming to an end. With a nod she was pleased to hear Starshade was willing to do her part to keep the pack fed and well.
“That is good you are willing to help him.”
Tick Tock was pleased to hear that Starshade was willing to step up to the plate and take command. She knew Starshade was capable of such a thing, even though she was a creature that preferred solitary. There was nothing wrong about it, but she hoped that she would continue to socialize with the pack. It would do her well. It was the request that she had that made the Monster give her a rare grin. Starshade was already thinking like a leader, already trying to figure out her responsibility and what she could do for the pack...she was glad she made the right choice.
“Every wolf should know how to hunt for themselves and for the pack, I think your request is valid. The two that died were worthless and weak, I have no sympathy nor care for their passing. I think you can call for all in the pack to join and if they have a problem they can come and see me.”
