Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

If Dieloch is to be understood then his daughter, too, has begun to aspire towards a better position within Glorall's hierarchy. I am the first to admit I know little of the girl besides from her family and yet, I am intent to rectify the issue as fast as possible. After all, I must ensure those that take precedence within Glorall are worthy of such positions and I am under the belief that such a thing is best begun young. My own aspirations had formed while young and so, I cannot fathom why it would not be the same with others. Dieloch mentions a warrior's path and so, it makes more sense now when I consider the day I had watched him on the shore with his daughter before I had confronted him. Training, were they? I can only wonder how much she has learnt already. I wonder where else his lessons have taken her?

I follow her scent closely towards the borders of the territory, my steps wide and swift as I take to the rocky riverbanks. My eyes watch out carefully ahead, noting her slight frame in the water before she suddenly lunges forward into the river. I pause as she does so, my body instinctively crouching in anticipation as she pulls an object from the water; a fish, I imagine, and so I am quick to begin forward once more at a jog.

When I come to her, I do not hesitate. I watch her closely as she begins to rip into the fish; my brow twitches up before I speak, only a short distance away before I pause to continue watching in intrigue. "You like to play?" I inquire with a tilt of my head, my voice curious and earnest. It has been some time since I have witnessed another play in such a manner, after all. I wonder, then, if this is the way I will be able to learn about her - through games. There are many play things in the woods, no?
