Misty Mountain is opposite of Rainbow Cliff. Mists hover year-round at this high altitude, mistaken by some to be thin clouds. Thin layers of snow cover the mountain, making some areas slippery and hazardous.

I sigh. "I kind of wish we could meet her, but I don't want to wake her up. I'm sure we'll meet other wolves." I bite my lip, one tooth out in a unintentionally silly manner. I look up at the glacier above us, tiger striped with yawning crevasses, an underground river rumbling through some of them hundreds of feet below the glacier, the sound pouring from the cracks faintly. I gulp nervously. I already slipped once today. I'd rather not slip in a place where a fall could be fatal. I feel a low whimper building in my chest. "No, I'd rather stay away, playing in the snow is fun, but I would like to stick to the safe places. Maybe find something to eat? I'm feeling a little hungry and want to find something before sundown if possible." I eye the female wolf from a distance. "And lets give her some leeway if we go past her again. She might be in a bad mood."
