Enocra Woodland

Pine, spruce and firs alike...
Dense coniferous forests cover the woodlands, with clearings, paths and the occasional wildberry shrub throughout. Pine, spruce and fir make up much of the forest in the east, with the forest becoming swampier in the west towards Mecor Valley. In the west, cypress trees dominate, with fallen trees creating bridges across and throughout the stillwaters.

"Dance, my little puppets,
set your soul free.
Dance, my little puppets,
dance just for me."
- verse iii, sandy nobody
Grimoire patiently admired the serious thought the younger wolf gave her words. His narrowed eyes and the tension in his brow gave him a distinct “skeptically considering” look. Poor kid. He was intelligent, obviously, but sorely lacking in the learned area. His brain must be starved of information. Who ever his parents were probably thought education on culture too much trouble or unimportant. She’d been mercilessly railed against the importance of conformity. Not that she had to yield to standards, but to obey them got her into far better spots than if she were to act with the purity of her own mind.

His irritation was clear as he boisterously accused the inadequacy of the silver female. Well... the little thing certainly had poor awareness skills, but was she an idiot? Hmm - Grimoire couldn’t conclude, having only seen this brief interaction. She was certainly inexperienced with different cultures, which lead to unrealistic expectations. Grimoire had no doubt the small wolf would learn, though; Moladoin had a way for forcing the harsh reality down the throats of unwilling victims. She allowed his to rant while she remained attentive. Then, he shook the slime off his fur. A nice piece of slime was tossed across Grimoire’s muzzle. Ugh. An annoyed frown appeared on her face before she flung her head to the side to rid herself of the nasty piece of earth. Her hackles stiffened upwards and she snarled correction at him,

"Don’t fling that stuff around!”

She huffed out in irritation and then outlined the situation that had just occurred from an alternative perspective,

"She was not dumb. She was interpreting the situation from the actions she could observe. From the circumstances, she only knew you scared the tar out of her and then proceeded to be aggressive. Hence, her fleeing the situation after concluding that you meant to harm her. She did ask to be taught, but you didn’t explain how you were going to teach her. Your interaction would have gone more smoothly had you told her your method of teaching her first.”

Grimoire glared at him. Before getting slapped in the face by sludge, she might have wanted to tease him, being as he’d just totally blown getting flirted with. It was clear, though, that he definitely wasn’t ready for that. Harsh socialization was required before he could enjoy the subtle playful things words could offer. And she was thinking she might not get terribly far with him sine she was more tempted to bite him at the moment for him flinging swamp stuff all over her. Not that she minded swamp, but she prefered to choose when she got gunk all over her, not have it inflicted upon her by the unmindful.
