The caves are where it all started. They allowed the first wandering wolves access to the land of Blossom Forest, and afterward housed the monster that had threatened the earliest of inhabitants. The heroes had slain it, yes, but in doing so had also closed off one of the pathways in the caverns, magic blocking one of the many exits to Blossom Forest. But over the years, the original spell has weakened and now the way is clear. What will not only crawl out of the caverns, but erupt from it? The caves now thrum with the ever growing magic wellspring as it spreads out into the land. It is from here that the first vampire of Blossom Forest was corrupted, and it is here that any subsequent vampire will be born. To traverse its paths is dangerous - there is an almost impenetrable darkness, and in that abyss lays many secrets - hidden holes one could fall through, weakened floors, and then of course there is the labyrinthe itself. No one knows what the deeper levels hold - no one has traveled them and survived to tell tales. Not even those who call this place home dares to test their luck by going in deep, deep, deeper. The magic exuding from this place has rearranged the lands - moving packs, changing the terrain. Here the cave looks the same but it is not - it is more dangerous than ever. In addition, outside the mouth of the cave the sacred stones that once stood erect in another place now stand guard. They are colored the most beautiful arrangement of jewel tones, and almost appear to be made of gems themselves, no longer the dull grey they once were. It is within them that all official fights must take place - at the Blican Orlege. Welcome to Drylic Cofa...

Darkness Imprisoning Me

All That I See, Absolute Horror

Things had slowed down in the pack since they had all helped fight off the cougars. Really things had been slow then as well. Not much had been going on in the pack, and the female was quickly becoming bored. Sometimes she wondered why she joined a pack and didn’t just continue her free roaming lifestyle, but then she remembered why she had first come here. Years ago she had had two young pups, two pups that could benefit from growing up in a pack. But she knew that she could not live in just any old pack. Her instincts were too aggressive and too hostile. Her first instinct was to attack and ask questions later, not caring about the consequences. And so it had limited the type of packs that she would fit into. And that was what had brought her to Abendrot. When she had first come here there was always activity going on, training sessions for warriors, going out to spy on other packs, pack hunts. A good place for pups to learn what it meant to be a varg and how to live a successful life. But the pups were no longer pups. They were full grown adults and she had not seen them at all as of late. As they grew up she saw them less and less, and now they had disappeared entirely. So Azula was not sure what it was that kept her in this pack, but she was still here.

So as the multi-hued female grew more and more bored, having nothing to do in the pack but sit around, she decided it was time to go out and stretch her legs. She had paid no particular attention to where her paws took her, and before long she was at the caves that she had visited before. Maybe it was the dark, quiet stillness of them that appealed to her. Or maybe it was the mysteriousness of never knowing what could be lurking in the dark, the strange danger of the unknown. But here she was again, paws quietly touching the cool, damp rock as she slowly walked into the darkness. Her light green orbs took a moment to adjust to the darkness before she continued her lazy stroll. For now it was silent in the area she was in, no noise but the steady drip of moisture that had collected on the ceiling fell to the ground. As she weaved through the caves she heard noises here and there, but none were overwhelmingly loud until she reached a cave towards the side. It sounded magnified because she had adjusted to the quiet stillness, and her audettes perked, trying to figure out what it was that was making such racket. And then familiar vocals said her name, and she knew what it was that was making the sound. Mabbit. She had not seen the brute in a long time, not since he had come to her den a few weeks ago. She knew that she had reacted a bit aggressively, but he had pushed into her den, so she put more of the blame on him for that incident, but she was not one to hold a grudge for something like that.

Azula’s form approached the voice, the scent of fish reaching her nares as she got closer. He must have come here to have a meal. It was funny that the two of them would meet here again when it had been in these very caves that she had first met him. Her posture was relaxed this time, not showing any of the hostilities that she had in their last meeting. ”Hello, Mabbit. What brings you out here for your meal?” She sat down nearby, not wanting to encroach on his meal and get to close. Her orbs were still adjusted to the darkness, so she could see the outline of his form, even though his own pelt was as dark as the night sky. Since he had called out to her, she assumed that it was okay that she had approached, but she would wander off if he seemed like he preferred to be alone, especially after how she had last reacted to him.
