Once this place used to hold the yin and yang scenery of Blossom Field. Now, there are miles of winding tundra. To the north, this tundra is cruel and dry, with wisping weaves of tall grasses. The ground is cracked and cold, and it hardly is ever moistened by dearly desired rainfall. To the south, the tundra becomes more prosperous - meadows of flowers and herbs grace the ground. Part of this connects near Elebeam Weargtreow - however it is an impassible field of poppy, which will put any wolf trying to cross it into a deep slumber, and eventually die.

Those looking to hunt here will find mice, snakes, and rabbits, along with pronghorns, bison, and javalinas.

Love Will Have Its Sacrifices {Harlequin}

The Hearts Keep Breaking

Carmilla's eyes were with the ebony duchess standing mere centimeters away. Thirst and lust clouded her mismatched pools. This shocked the young femme. Was is true that this angel was as hungry for her company as Carmilla was for hers? The thought was incomprehensible. How could a granite beauty such as this fae desire a black hole as drab as herself? Moreover, why would she ? Carm was nothing special but she willing to bet her life that this female could get anyone she wanted. Anyone in the whole of Blossom Forest. So why was she wasting her time here, with her, in the dead of the night? Were there alterior motives? Was she seducing her next victim? Carm almost wouldn't care if this was her demise. She'd go happily if the view of this magnificent creature, the face of her bloody capture, was her last.

Sweet lyrical words pulled Carm from her internal wanderings. The memorizing words sent shivers down her spine and yet, also put her slightly at ease. How could that be possible? It was like she had let this dragoness throw her over the edge only to catch her last minute and keep her from falling. Though she wouldn't mind it - falling for this mysterious songstress.

I'm feeling rather off kilter myself..

Carm admitted with a shy smirk, eyes trained on the rosy tongue that swiped across deadly weapons. The she-wolf began to walk closer forward and Carmilla merely rotated her skull to follow her movements - she dared not step away. She watched in utter reverence as their pelts melted into a singular work of art. Silence had fallen over then and Carmilla wondered if this was when she'd be dragged down to meet the devil. Was this it? Was this her end? Oh, what a way to go.

A single word was uttered into her ear and she knew it must have been the most beautiful word ever spoken. The most perfect name ever given. Harlequin. Her gentle nip nearly knocked Cam off her feet, but she steadied herself with some effort.

A stunning name for a stunning lady.

Carmilla whispered back, hardly wanting to break the calm of their quiet, sultry atmosphere. Harlequin didn't seem to mind though, she began to sing again like the alluring siren she was. Carm was intent to sit and listen for the rest of her life, how ever short or long it may be. She hoped for the latter but when she felt the tickle under her chin she knew she might keel over any second. Her legs grew weak as the tricky vixen wove her way around her body, never leaving more than a breath of space between them. She could feel the air leave her lungs to be replaced with the toxins of this femme fatale. It was all she could see, hear, feel, breathe.

Harlequin. Harlequin. Harlequin..

And she had never been more pleased. Dare she be as bold as her moonlight companion? A moment's review told her no but her own impulsiveness screamed yes.

As Harlequin came to serenade her, moving to reach an ear, she left her throat open and vulnerable. Her thick, steady pulse was enough to hypnotize the young vampire, taking all her self restraint not to sneak a taste right then and there. Would it be sweet like her voice, or bitter like her absence? The demon's curiosity lead her to the next best move - a gentle lick. Carm swept her tongue out and up Harlequin's exposed neck. She could feel the warmth of her blood beneath her tongue which only proved to excite her more.

I'll have to agree to disagree my dear Harlequin. I find you far more enticing than anything I've stumbled upon yet.
