One day, none of this will matter...

Time flitted by. Days meandered on and the song of summer filled the paradisiacal hell. The forest rang with the coos of small, sweet little birds in the day, but at night the first screeched and screamed with harbingers and bearers of death. These were the times at which the daemoness found herself at peace. The off kilter screams of the great horned owl reeling above as she wandered boundless through the terra. The howling warnings rang in tune with her own melodious howls of laughter at the pathetic attempts of creatures of escape her grasp. It was futile on their part but Azriel wasn’t going to stop them, she somewhat enjoyed their struggles. And on the rare occasion she found a piece of prey that gave her chase she would let the game drag on and on, just for the pleasure of physical exertion. She seemed to rarely achieve the same physical finesse that she had once held. Malignant was quieter than what she had anticipated but this dip in activity gave her time to rest and recover whenever she pleased. She trained when she wanted, fed whenever, and was at leisure to stroll the pack. And slowly but surely the hell hound had started to feel a sort of release. She did not feel herself so bonded to their devil incarnate, not that she would be any less responsive to his calls. Azriel would always answer to the master, because the consequence of not doing so was worse than most could imagine.

Azriel had received no calls from Lucifer as of late and so she continued to patrol on her nightly strolls. Only recently had she found herself entertained. Elijah had decided it would be a good idea to play at little her game. Azrieal found this quite hilarious, but the daemoness was not going to deny herself the chance to have a whack at the brute and so she gave chase. The ground was still imprinted with their endless chase and tussling bodies, and as she strode around in the afternoon light she saw the marks in the earth. What was more surprising than anything was that she had found her way out into the daylight hours. After her little play date with the onyx striped hellion she had slept soundly for the rest of the night and so she had no choice but to wake with the morning sun. It was really of course no trouble but she had enjoyed the regularity of her sleep while it had lasted. The assassin had not slept so peacefully in many moons and feeling so refreshed by this she had decided to expel the excess energy in a little jog around the terra.

What the sallow shadow had not expected was to actually hear the call of an unexpected guest at the borders. She had heard the internal calls and cries of the pack members but she had ignored them and kept to herself. But today would be a little bit different. She felt the tug of a smile at her kissers as she pinpointed the location of the call. Her shadowy figure twisted and drifted away into the undergrowth once more in search of someone. Azriel wove her way swiftly through the outskirts of Malignant, knowing that it would easier for her to spot the passerby wolves without being seen herself. Slowly but surely the scent of two unknown wolves wove into her nares. So, it would be a two for one deal? Or was it two birds with one stone? Azriel chuckled to herself and looked onwards for the outline of two figures. And slowly but surely their bodies came into view. One was a maned wolf and the other was an off white woman similar to herself. How cute, they came together. This would be her fun for the day and if intended to get a rank this would be one way to get it done.

Azriel slowed her approach and seemed to materialize from the shadows of the terra, No need to wake the whole house, dear lady, but please tell me what is it that brings you to the paradisiacal borders of Malignant Felicity? the daemon stood on the other side of the border with a chilling smile donned across her façade. It was not what one would call pleasant, but it was what the hell hound managed to place on her face instead of a scowl.
