Me and this kid couldn’t have been any more different. I can tell all the way from his confused look to his voice to his rather miniscule size, pretty much everything about him screamed - Look at me! I can’t do anything on my own! – so he had to go and run into me! I look over the kid for a moment feeling pretty bad for him, I mean I know not everyone can come out as strong as me and my sister! For a moment though I recall just that though that even in my family I had someone not survive, my brother, but I try to shove that away and suppress that. Father said that Chiron was not like we were, but that was a long time ago and hardly had to do with the boy standing in front of me.

I stare him down with my piercing gold and green eyes he looks familiar I must say. I let his words roll over me saying it was my fault and that I ran into him. Bologna, I say! But really this small fry really is someone I feel like I know somehow. ”Yeah well, whatever. Who are you anyway? What are you doing out here? The wind looks like it will blow you over at any minute. Does your mom know you are out walking around like this on your own?” Yeah I know I am one to talk, but I haven’t seen mom being too present lately and I think Father has been busy too, but you know I ain’t some simpering little wimp like this guy though. He needs some toughening up clearly.

I can’t shake this dumb feeling though that I know him from somewhere. I mean there aren’t many pups around Iromar, just my sister, and then the alphas two kids… What were their names? I know Aster was one of them, but I can’t remember the other Lazuli or something… No way this was him, like seriously there was no way someone as cool as Aithne could make… well something like this? He was a push over! I mean look at him all curled up nearly in a ball just because he bumped into me! I know I am pretty intimidating and tough and everything but no kid of Aithne’s would let me push them around.
