Yes, an enjoyable, gentle solve. The theme emerged quite quickly because I failed to solve the last across clue before I solved all the crossing down clues, so I had no clashes to obscure CARPENTER. I also had the theme lurking in my mind when I saw the possibilities of CABBAGES and KINGS, though I couldn't quite identify the source until I saw CARPENTER.
I wonder if the jumble of OYSTER to be seen in 28 and 30 was evidence of an earlier grid with hidden oysters. Replies:
