I do better with male characters personally, so I know the feeling! Also its great to start with a small puppy! Especially at this time of in game year!

So its very possible to join a pup that still needs to nurse, however you will have to wait to play her until May 1st (only a few days away now!) which is when Spring and Birthing begins on LC. I will make sure she's added appropriately if you were to join her now that way you can start asking players who will have mother characters in the Spring to adopt and take care of her =) There are quite a few I am sure someone would be happy to take your girl in with the rest of their pups <3

As for you question about age, Age 0 implies that they were born that in game year, so when spring starts all pups born will be Age 0 for four real life months before aging to 1 year. We only do age based on years, but if you wanted to join her as say like a 4 week old puppy in our registry she would be zero =)

Hopefully that's not too terribly confusing! I am not the best at explaining things x'D
