Eleanor gave a small chuckle at Despoina's teasing words. "I suppose you could say that." She said with mirth in her voice, she was being uncharacteristically gentle in these moments. She didn't want to hurt or be too forward in this situation. It was strange but she felt completely at ease laying out all her secrets, all her feelings- she knew that they would never leave this den no matter what happened.

She listened to Despoina speak, her ears pressed forward to catch every single word. The woman was clearly confused about how she was feeling, and Eleanor had to admit that she was a little confused as well. This emotion she was having- was it love or something else- was something that she had never felt before. She had never desired so strongly to curl up next to someone, to bury her nose in their fur, and it was both electrifying and terrifying all at once. "I'm sorry for cursing you." Eleanor said, her eyes focusing on the other. "But yet you will not leave my head. I wonder where you are, what you're doing, constantly, and all I want is to..." She trailed off. "To be close."

Eleanor had to wonder whether this was truly love, whatever this was between them, and she figured that perhaps it wasn't. Maybe it was just lust or maybe they were both just confused. But she hated that word, 'confused.' It was what she had been described as for all her life. She didn't want to feel or be confused, and so she started embracing her emotions, following her heart to find her path. It wasn't fair to either of them if they simply ignored what they felt.

The slate-grey woman smiled as Despoina spoke once more, pressing herself against the far wall. "Well then, I won't leave." She said quietly, shuffling her body a little closer to the other woman so their fur was brushing. She would wait and see if Despoina would further the contact or snap and snarl at her to move away. "Mostly because I don't think I could."
