Warmth on hold IP: 184.108.40.206 Posted on April 26, 2016 at 02:22:05 PM by T
A cool pool of air has been sitting over southeastern Canada for about a week now.
This has been keeping us a bit on the cool side. With temperatures 5 - 10 degrees
below normal. Our normal high temperature should be around 62 degrees for this
time of year. So when do we warm up some more? Looks like we have to go for the
next 2 weeks of slightly below normal temperatures. By the middle of May we
should see warmer air move our way.
A cold Canadian high pressure area moves over us tomorrow, Wednesday. This will
be a coolest day for a while. Then we moderate temperatures for the end of the
week and into the weekend. Temperatures getting closer to normal.
We will see more 60's for the 1st week of May. Then we should have days
closer to 70+ after May 6th.
It looks like we stay rather dry for the next couple of weeks. Only a couple of
days we some showers possible.
The summer is forecast to be above normal in temperature for the northeast U.S.
