Just when I had given up I found out this morning that the boffins at Plusnet have fixed the problem. I have been able to access the Crossword Centre website via FTP and update the site. I would like to thank Chris Lear for his help and his time in trying to solve the problem.

In the meantime I shall maintain the blog as it is a very convenient way to store files and spread information.
