It seemed as if a torch has passed and a new era begins for her new Fenris. This is what she expects for all of her members. For each one to change themselves and become something far better than they were before. Is it not her purpose as Alpha? To not only keep her own members safe but to make them improve? It is bound to happen the old wither away and the young take their place. That is how it works in life. She is pleased with Starshade and she expects Starshade to exceed Eric and his accomplishments. If Tick Tock did not think Starshade was capable of that then she wouldn’t have given her the title and responsibility at all.
“I am proud of you Starshade, but there is no need to lower your stance.”
It was one thing to show one respect, but it was another thing to do it over and over again. Not once did Tick Tock call herself a Queen. Not once did she order all the wolves within the fields to bow to her All she asked was that they respect her, Tobias, and do what they could to ensure their pack remained strong, healthy, and well taken care of. Already she knew she earned Starshade’s respect and so she did not think it was necessary for the she-wolf to lower her stance. With a nod she listens approving her desire to continue to hunt for food for those that would be delivering pups this year and for herself. There was a slight wave of her tail as she offered the girl a suggestion.
“Why not take one of the young with you, teach them early, perhaps you could take my children or their friend Rhett? Nevermore likes to learn, she has been with our Frankenstein learning how to heal, but she will need to learn how to track and kill.”
It did not go unnoticed to the Monster that Starshade was not always around the pack. She was a loner and it did not bother Tick Tock that she decided to be away from others. However, she hoped in time the she-wolf would be willing to bond with her own pack, the pack she was responsible for. Taking a tentative step forward she stretches her neck, her muzzle gently touching her own, the soft caress given to the girl as she whispered softly, a subtle encouraging tone.
“It is not always easy to be close around others, but I hope in time you will be more comfortable around them.”
