Dipping her head once more, Amber collected only about five more laps before the yelp of an older male echoed over the area. Jerking her head up, water flew everywhere. Before her, was a cloudy, almost stormy look at the top, male. His eyes wavered between an icy blue and a bit darker blue. Of course, his face was currently snow covered as he raised it out of snow. It was honestly almost comical how he had crashed, but Amber found herself not even grinning at the fail or balance. Surely everyone had to be a little silly one time or another.
Moving away from the patch of ice she'd found broken, and of which she was getting her drink from, the she-wolf went only a few feet before planting a paw on the ice, and then another. Amber had learned long ago how to walk on ice. Step quickly, avoid dark water puddles, and space your paws evenly, and try to move fast and lightly. It was a quick trot, as if she was floating over the surface itself. Even a little hop could be added to get off the ice, of which landed her about two feet to his left.
Her gaze studied him, his white coat dusted with almost a gravel color at the very top, his ridge. With darker paws, it almost set off his eyes, which were surely icy this close up for her. Now, why did she even come over to him? Oh, right! Amber had a very interesting offer for him.
"Hello. Want to learn how to travel on ice?" the rough, but soft voice asked him. The more she used it, the softer it became and less rough. Like slowly shedding her coat. Well, force shedding it anyway, considering it thought everywhere was the arctic.
