He stared at her rather flatly now, his tail still flicking as she looked over him. Well it was good it seemed she finally got the point to some measure but still she wasn’t in the right position to ask questions of Taika. Taika didn’t seem to know this wolfess well. Yes they were all of that gypsy group together, but when Los joined he was under the assumption the group was Neverland, Edrick, Taika then himself. He had never seen anyone else save that little group of friends, though he did recall seeing the pink eyed wolfess at the event Taika and he friends held in Spirane, but this one, no. He didn’t remember at all and he had been around the russet colored fem for the better part of a year now. He had seen Edrick and Neverland a lot even some girl named Coquette who apparently was Taika’s soul sister or something but she was sparse too, very likely wandering around doing her own thing like him and Taika now were doing together.
”She’s never been able to defend herself. Girl is about as violent as a dandelion, that’s why she has me.” He started as she started as she finished her sentence saying that she was less able to defend herself. Yes perhaps less able to run, but that was why Los was never far away anymore. The first twinge of fear or discomfort of her’s that he would feel through the bond he would be at her side in an instant. Such was the strength of feelings he got from her through her bond. Still their bond, their imprinting, was not truly this female’s business either, but he would explain more reasons to why he didn’t trust, nor understand, the concern she felt towards his soul.
”Even if I am a gypsy, I don’t remember seeing you be around ever until that meeting. I have met many of these gypsy wolves and when I first joined it was Taika, Edrick and Neverland I met, not you. I don’t know you, thus, even if she’s a part of this group, it doesn’t mean for one second I have to trust you. Just as if she were to join the pack I would not trust it’s members on her judgement. It took time for Neverland and Edrick, but I had time to figure out if they were trustworthy. You? No. You are a stranger, I haven’t seen you for the entire year I have been traveling with Taika and Edrick. I even met that pink eyed girl when there was something in Spirane, but you weren’t there. Why should I trust you for one moment? And don’t say because Taika does, she has a horrible judge of character.“ That last part was only true because never had Los liked Edrick. He trusted Edrick with her around her to keep her safe, but his personality, his fickleness between Neverland and Taika, to Los, that was a danger to her. Without Los there Edrick could just vanish leaving her undefended. One thing goes wrong with his imprint he would leave Taika, not because he wanted to, but he would have to at least if Los was right in assuming he too had a strong bond with his imprint. He would be compelled to go to her and not Taika. He could be completely wrong but it did seem that when Neverland got upset he knew and would go to her.
Their love square was complicated at best. But at least Los didn’t have his emotions pulled two different ways. Not like any of the other three. His focus was Taika, to hell with them and whatever they did. He laughed again at her choice of words. A threat? To her? Taika was a threat to herself letting in all these wolves constantly. ”I have no idea why you think there is a threat to her. Or why you continually think you know what’s best for her. I will tell you one last time. I don’t trust you. If you want me to trust you, stop prying for a start, stop being annoying for second and last prove what you mean. I don’t trust anyone till I see it. Words don’t mean anything in this world. Actions do. Unlike Taika I don’t trust blindly.” He moved to walk by her then going to return to the girl now so he could start preparing for spring. If she had anything else to say now was the time to say it, though really Los was pretty much done. He said his part, he said a lot and he hoped what he said would be remembered.
