Playing with the others are one thing that I reconsidered. At first it seemed pointless and boring. Why would I waste my time playing with the others while there is a giant pack around me I am trying to understand. I need to comprehend how it works, the places and stuff, who is who. Why someone bows before a wolf as weak as them. When I am quiet, most of the times, they answer my questions with no need for me to ask, just sometimes I need to put them in the right path to do it.

Some may consider that I am late for the strange meeting that happened today or something like that. The purpose of it is what intrigues me the most. What does that monster- One title I questioned everyday to myself- wants with us. The small wolves. But from my place within the den I heard. We need to decide what we are going to do. For the pack I assume. What if I don’t want to be in this… This pack. That wouldn’t be nice to say if the monster asks. But I wonder what happens if I tell her what I really want to do. That would be one interesting test.

The new sister is first to come declaring she was not afraid, only to have Jakuta bite at her ear, telling her she was our alpha. I huffed. Not my alpha, for sure. But let’s play pretend, she may have something to teach me.

I walked up to the couple of sisters and sat down beside them quietly, as always. To make me speak was hard, only if I really needed. Except when it was with mother. I liked to ask things to her, like how the pack worked, where did the food here came from. But mostly when the others were away or asleep, Jakuta loved to annoy me and play, it was hard to talk. But that doesn’t bother me that much.

The black wolf came to us after a little. With judging eyes. I did much of the same to her, but much more subtle due to my smaller size, looking mostly like a curious pup than anything. In this moment I hate to be big. I call so much attention, if my other sisters call more attention that would be better for me, I would have more time to observe. At least the monster didn’t say anything at all, only going to circle us. Was this really necessary for the alphas to do? It seems she doubts us very much. If all alphas make us feel like this, that is not very smart. Perhaps there is better reason. I waited for her to finish.

I heard her ask something I didn’t quite understand. Brood? Mother replied. Brood meant who is our father. It was nice to see Jakuta this time as she seemed stunned. The monster does little to scare me. She does manage to make me annoyed. Especially when I hear a whimper from my mother, apologizing for making us a secret. That is bad. Punishment? The alpha would punish others. If it was anything like mother does when Jakuta is bad, that is… Strange. I thought adults were treated differently than pups. Or… My theory is correct and this is not a good alpha.

Finally mother asked her that she did not blame us and I looked at her, expecting her answer. Would she be really like that? Blame us for a mistake we didn’t commit and plus, punish mother as if she was a little pup?

Well… Either way, I can pretend.

Kuk - The Chosen One - Darkness personified, this wolf is the chief warrior and is given all the same rights as the Pharaoh. Made of strength, tasked with teaching the youth to build their strength.
Thoth - Advisor to Sekhmet - God of wisdom, reason, and secrets. This wolf is extremely loyal to the Pharaoh. They can make and block steals as well as accept challenges when Sekhemt and the Kuk are unable to do so.

Imhotep - Divine Priest - Spiritual Advisor to Sekhmet. You will make sacrifices to the gods in her name.
Amunet - The Heir - One who is hidden and her powers are connected to the words silence, stillness, mystery and obscurity.
Ma'at - Lead Diplomat - God of justice and order. You maintain peace and order within the pack and with those to whom we are bound.

Nephthys - Head Butcher - God of death and decay. You, mighty butcher, will be the artful assassin. Those marked should meet Anubis soon.
Set - Head Thief - God of chaos and change. Take everything that you need and a little extra to grow. The rest is tribute.
Horus - Head Hunter - God of good hunting. Great hunter, the feast will be plentiful when you step on the fields.
Isis - Head Healer - God of healing and protection. You mend the wounds and do not allow weakness to fester.
Seshat - Head Informant - God of knowledge. Gather information on our friends and enemies alike.

Scepters - Warriors - You will work closely with Sobek. Fight for your pack; you will often be asked to escort other members on outings when it is seen fit.
Kemet - Hunters - Working under the eye of Horus, you will ensure the pack is fed.
Medjay - Scouts - Show me, what bounties can you find for the gods? Report your findings to Seshat.
Snares - Thieves - The world is ours, let us reap from it. Learn your art from Set.
Heka - Healers - Work with Isis to heal wounds and ease pain; repair what is broken to the best of your abilities.
Scribes - Diplomats - You will work under Ma'at to complete the duties of mantaining peace within and outside of the pack.

Kith - Children of Asteraia - The youth are our future.
Kin - Unranked members of Asteraia - Those who have not yet chosen a specialty, or who do wish to.
