Aplos Riverside

Moladion’s powerful, winding river...
Aplos River is a broad, slow-moving river originating from somewhere beneath the mountains of Spirane and feeding Iromar’s moors in the south. The northern parts of the river are known for their strong currents, with the water becoming slow moving in the south. The riverbanks vary along its course, ranging from soft hummock grasses to small groups of pine, and sometimes nothing but pebbles and sand. Crossing can be difficult at times, but it can be swam or bridged by fallen trees or boulders alike.

FIFTY WORDS FOR MURDER
AND I'M EVERY ONE OF THEM

The air was sweet with spring aromas; fresh grass, budding flowers, new leaves. It sickened her to the core. ”I swear, if this keeps up I’m going to vomit all over the place.” she declares to the shadowy figure at her side, a near replica in size and build but the similarities end there. She hears the feminine snicker from beside her but she chooses to ignore it as they continue to part the taller grasses of the surrounding riverside area. They were rarely seen apart and if you happened to catch one of them alone it likely meant that the other was not far behind. They work better as a pair and getting down to business all by oneself just isn’t as fun.

Chryseis stops and surveys the bend at which they had come to, her toes gripping at the edge of a sharp drop. A large, definitive figure is witnessed across the body of water, blood or red toned fur marking him in multiple places. She hoped that it was the first. There was nothing more appealing than a man cloaked in the cruor of his victims; just the thought made her giddy with hellish excitement. Fatality hums at her side, a lyrical note that is tell-tale of what her intentions are; only her sister can understand what it means. ”No.” Chrys answers swiftly as her head turns toward her sibling, ears half lain back and a scowl on her face. ”Not this one.” she continues as her scowl disappears and she turns to look back upon the beast in the distance.

Fatality sighs dramatically, intense eyes of dark red looking toward her sister as she stares at the male across the water. ”And why not.” she demands an answer. But she will not receive one as Chryseis descends the steep bank and begins to cross the shallower area of the river. With obvious contempt Fatality follows, fighting the slow moving current as the water rises to her elbows. Soon enough they were both on the opposite side and with Chrys leading the way there was nothing that was going to stop them.

Two toned eyes are burning into the larger male now as she approaches without hesitation. At least her coat was almost cleaned of that horrid spring stench. She feels her sister lingering at her left side as she nears the colossal brute and knows that if things were to go awry that she would at least have backup. For a moment she just stares at him, contemplating what to do because it is a rarity indeed that the sisters do not try to court a male into death’s embrace. ”You interest me.” she is straightforward and unapologetic about it. Her sibling, however, is far quieter and her bloody eyes tell all of what she wishes to do with him. She may let Chrys have her personal games for now but Fatality knows that this will never work in her favor. They never do.
