aurora borealis- noun plural: An aurora that occurs in northern regions of the earth. Also called northern lights.

In the middle of a dense forest of coniferous trees lies the Aurora Borealis pack, its name coming from its location. At certain times of the year, the northern lights appear, dancing almost magically in the sky. A narrow trail leads you through the close evergreens. Giving into temptation, you begin moving your paws. By venturing into this territory, you are venturing into a land belonging to a pair of feared leaders. You have heard rumors of them...but you decide to take your chances and hope that the tales of blood and death are merely fabricated stories to scare wolves.

You have walked nearly five minutes before you realize the sound of paws stepping somewhere from behind. Deciding that you've made a mistake, you quickly turn around, but find that you cannot go any further. Standing before you is one of the mighty kings you've heard of. His blood red pelt clings over perfectly toned bands of muscle. But that isn't what causes such fear in your veins. One of his amber eyes has a horrid, bleeding scar across it, and his good eye seems to stare right through you. His face is expressionless, giving off none of his intentions. You cower away as his jaws part.

"I'm Hell Demon."

His voice was deep and cut through the air like a hot knife through butter. Right where he left off, another voice picks up from behind you. You whirl around and find yourself facing another male with steely muscles beneath his pelt, which seems to consist of every shade of brown. He had startled you, and you're amazed how you hadn't at all detected his approach.

"And I am Ghost...we're the alphas of Aurora Borealis."

His deep voice was laced thickly with a Native American accent. His own golden eyes are directing a harsh glare your way. Now you're caught in the middle...your breathing has become heavy in your panic and you're not sure which to face.

"You've foolishly trespassed into our territory. You face the one called Hell Demon's whose voice is once more addressing you. Get out, or become a corpse along our border."

It's obvious they mean business. So now it's up to you...take your chances and stay, or heed their warning and waste no time getting out with your life.

“Oh, I don’t have a preference. I go by Sera, Fina, Fia, Seraphina… You can call me whatever you like best!” The princess wagged at Kal before bounding away with Castiel at her heels. Most others called her Sera, except for Dante, Conan, and Mireille, and the only one she really liked calling her that was her sister. But then Sera would respond to just about any name if she recognized that she was the one being addressed. Back home, she was usually referred to as Princess anyway. It would be nice to be something else for once.

The ashen prince stopped in front of her, head cocked as she exclaimed that she hadn’t been around pups her age in forever. “Really? What was it like back home for you?” His mouth moved faster than his brain as the words exploded from him in curiosity before he quickly added ”If you don’t mind my asking.” Sera giggled at his outburst. She had certainly done that before, always at the most inopportune moments of course. She bounced from paw to paw, finding new energy in being around someone her age. “Don’t worry. I don’t mind. I don’t have any siblings other than Dante and the rulers in our land don’t have any children… plus I was being groomed to take over one day, so there’s that.” The firebird shrugged her little shoulders. “Guess I didn’t really have time to go out and play. But now I do! I have all the time in the world!” Seraphina smiled brightly at Cas and wagged. She was going to have fun from now on. She was determined to, whether Vladimir liked her or not. “So what should we play?”

“Angels and Demons!” The fiery princess turned to face the newly arrived Vladimir, half surprised that he’s actually shown up. Maybe he was warming up to her. Or he hadn’t like being called a lump. Either way, he didn’t seem to be acting as cold to her, at least not that her emeralds could see. He raised his blues hesitantly. “It’s one of me and Castiel’s favorite games. He always plays Castiel,” Big shocker there. “and I play Gabriel… We don’t usually let anyone else play with us… But you could if you wanted…” Well, he was being rather nice. Perhaps her impression of him had been wrong, at least somewhat. She nodded enthusiastically at the prince’s invitation.

“Who could she be Vlad? We’d best hurry or the demons will get us for sure!” Sera scrunched her face up in thought. “There aren’t any girl angels.” She said, chewing on the inside of her cheek. The flame princess wasn’t especially knowledgeable in the area of angels, but maybe she could remember someone. There was that one with a name similar to hers. What was it again… ? “Seraphiel!” She announced, proud that she’d remembered his name. “Unless you had someone better in mind.” She didn’t want to ruin their game for them. The princess turned her head about her quickly. “What happens if the demons catch us?” She asked the pair. It was good to know, just in case.
