It seems the caves themselves were fickle, always willing to toss out something new. First, she'd followed a mid night wolf in, and now another had appeared out. Smaller, and much more careful, though. Differences were very easy to see. So, whatever the case turned out to be, she knew that this was a completely different wolf.
"Hello" she repeated in hopes of getting an answer for this time, considering the dark, two eyed wolf had not said a word. That was the strangest part. Everyone she'd met up to now had spoken to her at the first chance, and here this wolf was without a word. Without even a name, there was nothing to go on, even though this female might try and get rid of her quickly. Amber could smell the kill within the caves, somewhere.
If the case was to drive her off, the she-wolf would not take offense since it was over food, and she understood the need to protect food. She was a wolf and perfectly able to hunt on her own, not here maybe, but somewhere close. There had to be some long grass somewhere buried under the snow, homing a few rabbits away from prying eyes.
