She had learned several lessons from her mother even though few things had been spoken lessons she learned to read her surroundings. Opalescent eyes lock on to movement in the grass and in these moments she tried to recall what mother would do. She moved positioning herself with her head lowered covering her chest simply watch and stalking ever rustling stalk of grass. She hadn’t been watching and studying for nothing mother hadn’t caught her for a reason because she had learned to be sneaky. Well she thought so at least as mother never seemed to notice her.

She had rarely seen mother encounter others like them but she felt her coat multicolored coat puff up as she formed the best little growl almost a whine she could manage. As the boy about her size leapt out in-front of her. He was brown and cream and she kinda though he was a little like her but he wasn’t the family she knew. Sekhmet never staggered backwards because she hadn’t really experienced fear other than mothers look of disapproval but she wasn’t happy this boy was in her space and so she tried to mimic her mothers cold stare. Sekhmet offer a harsh puppy-like bark of warning before stepping forwards ever so slightly.

She tried to take the boy in and understand what was going on but she was far too young to grasp what she was doing, she had played with her brother before but it had been nothing like this it was knew and strange she felt a new energy rising and she barked at him again this time trying to be more fierce her lips drawing bad to show her pink gums and needle like teeth; ears drawing back to her crown. She had wished was more certain in what she was doing but she was going to stand her ground

The boy’s stare reminded him of mothers but his eyes where much different it reminded her of the sun at night time. She looked at this boy with fondness; this was new he was toy now and she would be owner she wanted to touch and feel her new toy to see what it would feel like between her teeth. Sekhmet leapt forwards although it was a rather short distance she moved with her small jaws open needle like teeth aiming to grab this new toy by the shoulder. Maybe she would be able to shake and toss it around like the others mother would bring but this one was special because she found it on her own!
