Many wolves looking for relaxation come to Blossom Field. A gentle breeze vibrating the blossoming flowers is quite a sight to see and it is quite a favourite for wolves to come with their mates.

A recent fire has ruined the scenery, half the field covered with soot and marked with scars of the flames. The other half is untouched, however.

Jorah
There is a beast in every man......mine is stirring...

Long strides pulled his body across the earth, away from Aurora Borealis and toward the no-man lands. Places where all wolves were welcome and that no one could claim. It was there that he was to find freedom from his mind, where he could let his minuscule facade slip away and expose the monster beneath. As of yet he had told no outright lies, but instead only sinned due to lies of omission. He had come to Aurora Borealis to tell Kalgalath of his father's death... But on orders from Imhotep, who had always desired to take over control of Kal's father's lands. Imhotep was an evil brute, a conqueror of lands, territories, and loner wolves, but Kal's father had always beat him whenever they came together in battle. So when he had died... Naturally Imhotep had wanted to take the pack, take the lands... And to ensure those goals he needed to make sure that either Kalgalath had no plans to return... Or that his decision was forced. Jorah's role in all of this?

Subterfuge.

He was to become trusted, to learn all that he might... And figure out Kalgalath's plan. If Kal had no want for his father's lands, then Jorah would leave, and leave him alone. But if Kalgalath wanted to return... Then Jorah's job was to kill him. It was to be swift, to look like an accident so that there would be no blow back. Not that there was likely to be any blow back in such an event, as Jorah and Imhotep were not well known or rather not known at all in this part of the world. None of the lands here had been conquered by the monster that Jorah was loyal to... At least not yet...

When at last Jorah ceased his motions, he found himself in a split field... Half dead, half alive. Not knowing how else to react... He began to laugh a deep chesty laugh that did not echo at all due to the flatness of the land. At that moment for the first time in years... Jorah felt completely and utterly alone.

...and should I ever slay you......your eyes shall be open
