For those reading, this is the pattern. They holler there is no evidence, and when evidence is presented, now its an escaped pet. When its proven NOT to be an escaped pet (one has NEVER been shown to be in Southern New England), they then throw up "well there is no breeding population". Any of you that have done research can recognize this as "academic stonewalling". This is exactly what is happening with some state agencies. As proven in Rhode Island, they will then hide evidence. Matanuck, and the way the evidence was ignored and hidden, shows there likely have been far more incidents than we know of.
