An article from BostonHerald, about a new miniserie about the Kennedys. It's really curious how they refer to Carolyn Bessete, as a gal he dated with who worked as a nighclub marketing:
Channeling Camelot’s John F. Kennedy Jr.

And the winner is ... Brett Donahue.
The 30-year-old Canadian hottie, a virtual unknown, has been cast in the plum role of John F. Kennedy Jr. in the Reelz channel miniseries, “The Kennedys After Camelot.”
“Our casting team looked at dozens of young actors for this iconic role before we landed on Brett Donahue, whose final audition was absolutely riveting,” said producer Michael Prupas.
Donahue is probably best known for his roles in the TV series “Suits” and “Beauty and the Beast.” He also had a small part in the 2012 “Total Recall” remake.
While Donahue may not be well-known in America, what he does have going for him is a pretty close resemblance to John John.
As we told you Monday, the miniseries is a sequel to the eight-part 2011 docudrama “The Kennedys,” starring Katie Holmes as Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis and Greg Kinnear as JFK. Holmes will reprise her role as Jackie O. in the sequel, former “Friends” star Matthew Perry will play Ted Kennedy and “Game of Thrones” regular Alexander Siddig will do the role of Aristotle Onassis.
The sequel is based on the 2012 best-seller, “After Camelot: Personal History of the Kennedy Family 1968 to the Present,” by author and biographer J. Randy Taraborrelli. And JFK Jr. may be the most compelling character in the series.
“As the son of President John F. Kennedy and first lady Jacqueline Kennedy, John F. Kennedy Jr. was only 3 years old when his dad was assassinated,” the producers said in a statement. “JFK Jr. grew up surrounded by Secret Service and faced his teen and young adult years with paparazzi and intense public interest in everything he did. Balancing personal interests and ambitions, family expectations and a nation’s dreams for a rebirth of Camelot, JFK Jr. navigated the complexities as a well-liked and respected man.”
He also had a tumultuous marriage to former Lansdowne Street nightclub marketing gal Carolyn Bessette, a high-profile romance with actress Daryl Hannah, flings with Madonna and Sarah Jessica Parker, and famously flunked the bar exam three times. He died with his wife and sister-in-law when his plane crashed off Martha’s Vineyard on his way to his cousin’s wedding in Hyannisport.
Production has begun and the miniseries is scheduled to air next spring.
