aurora borealis- noun plural: An aurora that occurs in northern regions of the earth. Also called northern lights.

In the middle of a dense forest of coniferous trees lies the Aurora Borealis pack, its name coming from its location. At certain times of the year, the northern lights appear, dancing almost magically in the sky. A narrow trail leads you through the close evergreens. Giving into temptation, you begin moving your paws. By venturing into this territory, you are venturing into a land belonging to a pair of feared leaders. You have heard rumors of them...but you decide to take your chances and hope that the tales of blood and death are merely fabricated stories to scare wolves.

You have walked nearly five minutes before you realize the sound of paws stepping somewhere from behind. Deciding that you've made a mistake, you quickly turn around, but find that you cannot go any further. Standing before you is one of the mighty kings you've heard of. His blood red pelt clings over perfectly toned bands of muscle. But that isn't what causes such fear in your veins. One of his amber eyes has a horrid, bleeding scar across it, and his good eye seems to stare right through you. His face is expressionless, giving off none of his intentions. You cower away as his jaws part.

"I'm Hell Demon."

His voice was deep and cut through the air like a hot knife through butter. Right where he left off, another voice picks up from behind you. You whirl around and find yourself facing another male with steely muscles beneath his pelt, which seems to consist of every shade of brown. He had startled you, and you're amazed how you hadn't at all detected his approach.

"And I am Ghost...we're the alphas of Aurora Borealis."

His deep voice was laced thickly with a Native American accent. His own golden eyes are directing a harsh glare your way. Now you're caught in the middle...your breathing has become heavy in your panic and you're not sure which to face.

"You've foolishly trespassed into our territory. You face the one called Hell Demon's whose voice is once more addressing you. Get out, or become a corpse along our border."

It's obvious they mean business. So now it's up to you...take your chances and stay, or heed their warning and waste no time getting out with your life.

Jorah
There is a beast in every man...
...mine is stirring...

The first wolf, and only wolf, that Jorah came upon was a brute, who approached friendly enough. The stranger slowed when nearing him head on - it was as if he had been running border patrol along the boundary. Someone was being responsible... Jorah hesitantly smiled at the brute, his plume not nearly as amorous as the opposing varg's was. No, his hung low and stiff, the slightest of sways visible. It worked to his character well - Jorah was new the pack, of course he would question any and every wolf he came upon since he did not know anyone.

'Hello there. I’m Gwaine. I’ve only recently joined this pack, so I have yet to meet most of my packmates and you seem as good as any to start with.' Jorah let loose a soft chuckle. So maybe this brute would not be as direct a line to Kalgalath as Chenzii would be... But it was to his advantage to at least get to know everyone, and be on good terms with most of them. "It would seem, then, that we are in the same boat. Chenzii admitted me a little while back and for the most part I have been exploring by myself, but this is the first time that I have run into another. I admit partly this is by choice - I did not come bearing the best of news for Kalgalath." The brute waited an appropriate amount of time, his multi hued eyes finally raising to seek out the brute's own gaze. Once Gwaine responded, Jorah explained himself further, his vocals full of remorse. "Kalgalath's father died. I was in his pack, and thought it was only logical to come and join his son's pack now that he has passed. Especially since there was no one to take over leadership of the pack, with Kalgalath being his heir. Sure he had other offspring... But Kalgalath was his first born, and the only one who had been groomed to lead."

Jorah shook his head and turned away for a moment, inhaling deeply, before continuing. His deep vocals brightened slightly, as the conversation switched from talk to death. "I am Jorah, by the way. I am very interesting in this whole career path thing that Kalgalath has set up - Chenzii told me about it. I was trained to be a spy from early on in life, so I think I am going to give that a try. What about you? What do you have an interest in? I would ask what the other member's are interested in too... Only you said that you were new too." He chuckled again before sitting and staring out into the darkness of the land, shrouded as it was in shadows. Light was barely above the horizon, and the dense thickening of trees prevented it from spreading thoroughly on the forest floor. Within these woods were many vargs that he had to fool... Two down, many more to go. "Where have you made your den? I did not get a tour - I like exploring places myself - but I am having difficulty choosing where to dig one. I was thinking by the mountain in the center - I like the view."

...and should I ever slay you...
...your eyes shall be open
