Grievance filed by Thomas/Ricky granted - results in rained out victory Sunday Posted on June 14, 2016 at 10:19:19 PM by Jeff "Laca" Conway
An emergency ruling by the NJAA has granted a grievance filed by Thomas and Ricky with a rained out win Sunday night.
According to rule 174.1 (d), any game that is halted by rain is ruled an official game at the time the game is stopped with the winner going to the team with the most points at that time.
The rule is only in place if that team has 10 points or more.
Ricky and Thomas had 14 when play was halted in game 1 Sunday night. Heavy rains washed out the performance and for some reason the game was not recorded as official.
The NJAA ruled in favor of the grievance filed by Thomas Tuesday night, giving them the victory from two nights ago.
Magic Mike claims the game was suspended because players agreed to continue the game at a later time - something that has never done before.
