Haven had slept uneasily under Tithe's reign. Her conversation with Sleekwing, though it had was long past, still stayed with her. She appreciated her older brother taking the time to soothe some of her worries, but she couldn't shake the feeling that she had been doing something inherently wrong by pledging allegiance to a wolf that was not Daenerys, not family, not mountain-born. Tithe had earned her respect, perhaps, but he had not earned her loyalty. It was only the desire to not uproot her family that had compelled her to stay. But Daenerys had again come from the throne, as Haven knew she would, and for some time she waited anxiously to hear the call- either her sister's or Tithe's- marking the victor of the battle.

And so, when Daenerys' song rang clear and true, reverberating off the peaks of Spirane, a weight was immediately lifted off of Haven's heart. Her paws itched with a desire to run, to leap and twirl about, and so she did, cavorting down the slope of the mountain towards Daenerys and the gathering pack members. Her step felt light and there was a childish innocence about the woman that had been absent for quite some time. Worrying about affairs far beyond her had taken it and hidden it somewhere in the recesses of her mind. But now, she was free from that, free from the rule of one that she could not, would not, pledge herself to.

It was a short distance from the gathering where Haven met with her daughter, Samus, and for a moment they were all yips and barks and flurries of fur- the lanky girl was grinning from ear-to-ear and Haven knew that her daughter must be ecstatic to have her cousins back home, and her aunt once again ruling Spirane. They arrived together, and Haven grinned at her sister. "I knew you'd be back." She said, her voice light and jesting, though her misty eyes betrayed the absolute joy she felt at seeing Daenerys resume the throne. "Welcome home, my dear sister." These words were softer, akin the look in Haven's eyes.

Samus, after bouncing around her cousins for a few minutes, stepped forward and grinned up at her aunt. "I knew you could do it, Auntie Dany! Ever since you kicked that boy's rump I knew you were a badass."
