Enocra Woodland

Pine, spruce and firs alike...
Dense coniferous forests cover the woodlands, with clearings, paths and the occasional wildberry shrub throughout. Pine, spruce and fir make up much of the forest in the east, with the forest becoming swampier in the west towards Mecor Valley. In the west, cypress trees dominate, with fallen trees creating bridges across and throughout the stillwaters.

With stakes as high as these,

There is something odd about the male. His eating habits are unfamiliar to me, resembling more of those from an alligator than a wolf. Rip, tear, throw, snap, swallow. A bit over the top for my tastes but I had come across an eclectic group of wolves before so I didn't bat an eye. Seemed Molodian was full of odd characters. Either way he seemed whole of figure and reasonably well muscled. I noted a few scars from a distance but I couldn't quite tell until I got up to him, except I am going up against his good side so don't see anything. I don't intend to hurt him, not really, but my bites aren't meant to be gentle. They are meant to invoke a panciked run that I can control. Hell, if I HAD walked up to him and asked him straightforward to come to Spirane I doubted he would have agreed to come along. Because, really, I am a terrible conversationalist.

For a few seconds I feel triumph as the male leaps forward, leaving behind the carcass that I had no interest in. I would find him seomthing in recompense in Spirane but for now I had a job to take care of. As I spit out his fur the male spins around to face me and I blink in surprise, almost backpeddling a the savage visage before me. We are moving so fast I can't tell if he is deformed or if this is some wound. He looks fucking CRAZY. Still, he comes at me with snaps and snarls, but I am calm. Collected. It is the very essence of my being. I leap to the side with adept swiftness, lunging forward so that his teeth bury into the upper part of my chest, closer to where my shoulder meets, and I bite at his neck. They are quick bites, meant to grasp, pinch, and then let go. Never meant to draw blood but if this male keeps on I will have to get savage.

With a low growl of frustration I pushed my hind legs out from under me in an attempt to slam my chest into his, to drive him back. Make him double think this whole fighting back scenario. Maybe if I succeed he will turn and flee towards the mountains and I can herd him without many problems.

Failure is not an option.
