The forest stands tall and lush here; ancient trees reach weather-twisted arms to the sky, fighting monster-like storm clouds back with their interlacing fingers. Shadow seems to lurk everywhere you look, but it spills calmly, coolly, inspiring a sense of stealthy calm or protection rather than unease. That is, if you've forgotten what kind of creature might be stalking just out of sight...Abendrot is a land cradled by the dark woods on all sides; in the center, some of the larger trees stay behind to reveal a small plateau - a citadel where this pack can gather and defend itself from invaders. There are, of course, softer sides to the land. Clearings here and there allow the sun to throw down its rays in incongruously resplendent gold showers. Ignore the lingering scents of blood spattered here and there along the borders: those do not concern you. The river on one edge of the territory is playful enough when it hasn't been gorged by violent rain. You can choose to note the ragged claw marks raked down tree trunks and the forest floor as friendly "Home Sweet Home" signs, if you wish.
All who treasure loyalty, order, victory, and the occasional indulgence of raw visceral pleasure are welcome, once they've been approved by the ever-watchful eyes of Abendrot's Alpha.
But keep one thing in mind: no matter what your motive, this is not a fool's Paradise. This is the land of soldiers, assassins, and spies. This is ABENDROT.
Make up your mind quickly and prepare to prove your worth. You wouldn't want to add to those blood spatters, would you...?

The thought of her existence - the blood she had already thrown on the ground to be here where she stood now made her wonder. Was she really some killer? No one here - Not even Halina herself knew the back story of the little pup who showed up at Abendrots gates by herself. Sure, she was old enough by then to hunt and fend but the walk was so long. She had no clue where she had been going to. She just kept moving forward. Eventually she came to where she belonged. The corpses of her dead parents were long picked to bone - Though she'd only admit to killing one. Her story was untold, the banded woman knew how to keep secrets. Her mind was her own diary, something no one could read.
Her mind quickly snapped to attention as she realized she had been spacing out. Halina and Yggrites scent vaguely drifted through the air as she twisted to see if she could spot them. Her emeralds went back to Grey Wind, his voice capturing her attention. "Yes, Ambrosia I do remember you. I hope Halina has been training you well and that you have adjusted into this pack.” She stood still, silent. A warm feeling kept over her as she felt a presence come close. The warmth consumed her with a nuzzle, her orbs looking to see the face of her mother - Halina. “I see you survived without us, dear. I’m proud of you… I think it is time finally to start your training.” She gave a nod, silence filling her still.
With that the meeting started. "Thank you all for coming, it is good to see that Abendrot’s numbers grow as we welcome new wolves to our ranks. As I’m sure you all have noticed, not much has gone on within Abendrot as of late, and I apologize for my absence from you all. I do want to change that however. But first, it has been some time since we talked about ranks. Halina will remain as Beta, Mabbit and Azula will continue to hold the Delta position. Macaria will be moving up to Zeta with her continued training and more efforts as a healer. Ambrosia will be move up to Iota with her continued loyalty to this pack. For the two newcomers, you will start as Omegas but will move up based on your actions and loyalty to this pack.” Her orbs widened as a silent gasp escaped from her lungs.
She looked to Halina, a smile curling up at her lips. "I am proud of you dear, for earning your first rank. After this meeting -" She began to whisper in her ear but stopped abruptly. "- I Of course will lead the training, Grey Wind. After all, I am the best warrior in this pack, aren't I?" Ambrosia gave a large grin. Here she could become something and make herself greater. All with the help of the greatest warrioress in the pack. "Lupin, Ambrosia, both of you would benefit from training now that you are older, but I will not stop you if you instead wish to train as a spy. Do any of the rest of you wish to train with me? I can promise you skills, exhaustion, and bruises galore, fear not. But I cannot promise you will leave my ring unscathed..."
"I wouldn't hold my breath if I was you, 'cause I'll forget but I'll never forgive you!"
