aurora borealis- noun plural: An aurora that occurs in northern regions of the earth. Also called northern lights.

In the middle of a dense forest of coniferous trees lies the Aurora Borealis pack, its name coming from its location. At certain times of the year, the northern lights appear, dancing almost magically in the sky. A narrow trail leads you through the close evergreens. Giving into temptation, you begin moving your paws. By venturing into this territory, you are venturing into a land belonging to a pair of feared leaders. You have heard rumors of them...but you decide to take your chances and hope that the tales of blood and death are merely fabricated stories to scare wolves.

You have walked nearly five minutes before you realize the sound of paws stepping somewhere from behind. Deciding that you've made a mistake, you quickly turn around, but find that you cannot go any further. Standing before you is one of the mighty kings you've heard of. His blood red pelt clings over perfectly toned bands of muscle. But that isn't what causes such fear in your veins. One of his amber eyes has a horrid, bleeding scar across it, and his good eye seems to stare right through you. His face is expressionless, giving off none of his intentions. You cower away as his jaws part.

"I'm Hell Demon."

His voice was deep and cut through the air like a hot knife through butter. Right where he left off, another voice picks up from behind you. You whirl around and find yourself facing another male with steely muscles beneath his pelt, which seems to consist of every shade of brown. He had startled you, and you're amazed how you hadn't at all detected his approach.

"And I am Ghost...we're the alphas of Aurora Borealis."

His deep voice was laced thickly with a Native American accent. His own golden eyes are directing a harsh glare your way. Now you're caught in the middle...your breathing has become heavy in your panic and you're not sure which to face.

"You've foolishly trespassed into our territory. You face the one called Hell Demon's whose voice is once more addressing you. Get out, or become a corpse along our border."

It's obvious they mean business. So now it's up to you...take your chances and stay, or heed their warning and waste no time getting out with your life.

When Vladimir barked, Seraphina’s ears flattened at she opened her mouth to apologize. She didn’t want her new friend, who had warmed up to her at last, to dislike her again. But she caught his shy smile and her ears sprung back up. He wasn’t upset at her! “I guess… It is just good that I didn’t trip when Devils were after us because they’d of eaten us. But you did a good job too, Sera.” The princess wagged at him and nodded. “Thank you, Vlad. You’re right, it is good! I’m glad we didn’t get eaten because then we couldn’t play anymore and that wouldn’t be any fun, right Mr. Kal?” She looked up at the Alpha, who was now addressing her, Vlad, and Cas. Seraphina nodded vigorously at Kal, “Oh yes, we’ve been having loads of fun.” She giggled as Vlad fought unseen enemies and tumbled back to her and Castiel. Kal’s words of good and evil resonated with her. He was right, good should always win. It wasn’t fair that it didn’t.

Sera’s attempts at greeting everyone else stopped suddenly at the appearance of Hellene, worry on her face. The healer smiled at the pup, assuring the princess that Dante was alright. Seraphina just about jumped for joy, a wide grin breaking out on her face as she returned to sit with the twins. Of course Dante was ok. She was Dante! Sera never should’ve doubted her big sister. Her green eyes looked up to Kalgalath as he called for the meeting to begin. First on the table, and rightfully so, was the matter of Dante and Bright Moon. It wasn’t surprising to the little firebird that they had been successful. One was badly hurt, that was sad, but it wasn’t her sister and that was what was important. The agenda continued to jobs. There were so many to choose from, but Sera realized that she wouldn’t be picking one. As Dante had won her battle, surely she would soon be reunited with her sister. The thought was exciting, but a twinge of sadness went through her. She liked it here, with Vladimir and Castiel. They had fun together. She didn’t have any friends in Bright Moon and it was so boring being alone all day. She’d have the queen, but Dante would be busy with leader type things. Seraphina looked down at her paws, torn, as the introductions began.

“Are you going to leave now?” Vlad turned to ess, emitting a whine and pouting. She looked at the prince. “I dunno. If that’s what Dante wants. But until she comes for me, I’m staying right here!” She smiled at him. The others introduced themselves and the group were joined by two new wolves. Eventually it was her turn, though she wasn’t quite sure what to say. “I’m Seraphina. I’m here from Bright Moon and I don’t think I’ll be here long enough for a career, but if I were to be I think I’d like to be a liason or an advisor.” She looked at Vlad, who was going to be the Alpha someday. “Maybe one day I’ll be a leader too.” She was the heiress to the Summer Eclipse pack after all. “Or I could be your advisor. Wouldn’t that be neat?”
