Mihr did not understand cruelty. Nor did he think about the rude or harsh words some wolves said to each other. His live was what one may call “perfect”. His family was happy, his pack was at peace, and all was well for the child. He had never met another who would want to cause him harm and because of this, he understood the need for a guard. He was happy and friendly, so why shouldn’t he show that to others all the time. It never occurred to him that others may not be the same as him. It certainly didn’t when speaking with his newfound companion.
" Avtandil," he said, testing the name on his tongue. "I heard about Iromar and even travelled there not too long ago to visit a cub who had come to Diveen to invite us to a party. I think her name was Pine. There weren’t very many other kids there so I went home." The other boy didn’t need an explanation, but Mihr was a wordy child and liked to talk. Something others found rather annoying, though he would never know. Taking a few steps closer, he sniffed the boy for a moment and whined in happiness that he had found someone knew to play with.
"I haven’t travelled outside of my home much. Never to a place in the outlands so I thought I would come to visit. I saw that pretty rainbow and wanted to admire it. I love rainbows. I like to pretend I’m flying above them or that I can slide down them. " He giggled to himself and lowered down to his front paws so his rump was in the air. Wagging his tail wildly, he let out a sharp bark that echoed loudly off the cave walls. Startled, he lowered his bottom and crawled closer towards the other wolf. "Whoa! That was loud. Hahaha!" Some may consider him obnoxious, but Mihr was just a puppy full of energy who only wanted to live and laugh and imagine of better things than the boring, everyday life of Moladion.
