Whatever agreement you had with the previous alphas I will by all means respect. You all will be safe here, expected you all keep this place safe in return. I will speak to you about this agreement after the meeting and I return from some business quickly. I'll speak of that in a moment.' Akuji smirked at her, his harsh way of being in stark opposition to her kindness. "I will this place safe as long as it keeps Katia out of harms way. Should that ever fail, or should she ever leave, I will be gone as well. And are you sure that you want to leave so soon after gaining a throne. Seems stupid to me - you cannot trust anyone here to protect your throne while your gone, but be my guest." Akuji scoffed and turned away from her, sitting on the side and waiting for her to declare her say so, whatever it may be. Luckily, he did not have to wait long for her to roll into a long monologue, rambling on about her plans for the pack, some lost pup, and the fact that they were all alphas - none of which Akuji actually cared about. Rank had no meaning when it was doled out from an inferior being. One of the other wolves offered up information about the pups' father and Akuji nearly chuckled - he knew the name Aindreas. It was a brute that Shae had outrun many a time on her adventures in Moondown Shadows. And Drizzt... He had been Hocus Pocus' pup here. Served the little bastard right...
