Bright Moon - a land sullied by mystery and the ravaging scars of a terrible fire. Abandoned as a pack land for years, the terra has been used as a gathering place for the brazen and bloodthirsty drawn there by the lingering pall of death. Yet from the ashes there comes an unordained phoenix, the rainbow hues of hope glinting in her mismatched globes. Through the obsidian drapes obscuring the scenery, she alone was able to catch the perfumed aroma of new life on the breeze and hear the sluggish streams flowing ever swifter into the morning.

Thus, with a purpose, she set out to map the incognita, discovering daily the extent of the reawakening and unearthing within herself a desire to return the landscape to its former glory. Now she stands tall as privileged Alpha of the lands, lording over the rock-strewn prairie and bountiful forests with a firm but gentle paw.

Having finally realized her deepest longing to be a queen, Satowra is focused solely on the revival and maintenance of the Bright Moon Pack. Her question to each prospective warrior that comes to the border is simple:

"Do you have what it takes?"

[Notes]
-All ranks can be held by either a mated pair or a pair of wolves who are related. Filled ranks can be challenged for if a pack member wishes to. Pups will hold the same rank as their parents. Teens will be automatic Omega's as they developed and train. Only adults can hold a rank above Omega. Each rank besides having attached attributes is also largely based on loyalty, trust, and activity within the pack.

[Alpha Male and Female]
-The Alpha is the designated leader of the pack as a whole, whether through a challenge, voting, etc. This wolf or pair of wolves is expected to protect the pack, fight for it, exile wolves, and oversee the needs of the pack in general. What the Alpha says is final, but it can be protested if a number of pack members disagree. Alpha’s are the head of the pack and should be willing to listen if a pack member has a recommendation for improving the stability, quality of life in the pack, etc.

[Beta Male and Female]
-The wolf or wolves that hold this rank are well respected and trusted by the Alpha(s) and the pack as a whole. Beta’s are counselors to the Alpha(s) and are considered well rounded in their training (diplomacy, fighting, etc.). They are allowed to formally accept new pack members. Beta’s accept challenges if the Alpha(s) are unable to answer. In the absence of the Alpha(s) the Beta will rule over the pack until their return.

[Gamma Male and Female]
-Wolves chosen for this rank are admired for their skill in diplomacy and wise words. They are messengers in the pack and help to negotiate and talk with allied packs. They will help counsel the Alpha(s) in choosing who to ally with and be warned of. These wolves are also allowed to formally accept new pack members without the Alpha’s explicit permission or oversight. Gamma’s are also tasked with training other wolves in diplomacy should interest be shown.

[Delta Male and Female]
-Wolves chosen for this rank are considered guardians of the pack. They are boundary wardens in a sense and are typically the top fighter(s) of the pack. They are the last ranked wolf that is able to formally accept pack members without the Alpha’s explicit permission or oversight. Though they are fighters it is expected that peaceful precautions will be taken before resorting to violence in disputes of any kind. Delta’s are also considered to be the head trainer to the warriors in the pack and willing to train those who wish to become skilled in the art of fighting.

[Epsilon Male and Female]
-Wolves chosen for this rank are known as the lead healers. They are knowledgeable in herbology, healing, and sometimes even poisons. Though the Epsilon cannot accept pack members fully they are allowed to bring in potential members that can be fully accepted by either the Delta, Gamma, Beta, or Alpha. These wolves are also expected to help train other wolves in their discipline if they show interest and keep members healthy, to the best of their ability.

[Zeta Male and Female]
-Wolves in this rank the lead hunters (or huntresses) in the pack. They are placed to keep an eye on the level of prey within the pack and keep the Alpha updated on the health of the lands (drought, flooding, lack of prey, etc.). Zeta ranked wolves are expected to help train those who wish to developed their hunting skills and help keep a steady supply of food to those who are unable to fend for themselves (elders, pups, etc.). Like the Epsilon the Zeta can bring in potential members that can be fully accepted by any wolf holding a rank of Delta or higher.

[Iota Male and Female]
-The rank of Iota is for wolves who are trained in the art of assassination, spying, and scouting. They usually work in tandem with the Gamma’s when worst comes to worst or if they have information that they believe would benefit the wellbeing of the pack. These wolves are expected to train other wolves in the discipline if they show an interest. Though the Iota cannot accept pack members fully they are allowed to bring in potential members that can be fully accepted by either the Delta, Gamma, Beta, or Alpha.

[Omega Males and Females]
-The rank of Omega is a place for any wolf who has just been accepted fully into the pack by one of the top four ranks (Alpha, Beta, Gamma, Delta). Many of these wolves will have their own disciplines and can work with the heads of each to help work up their skills. Like any wolf in the pack they are expected to take part in pack tasks or activities, which just might earn them a rank if they desire it.
