aurora borealis- noun plural: An aurora that occurs in northern regions of the earth. Also called northern lights.
In the middle of a dense forest of coniferous trees lies the Aurora Borealis pack, its name coming from its location. At certain times of the year, the northern lights appear, dancing almost magically in the sky. A narrow trail leads you through the close evergreens. Giving into temptation, you begin moving your paws. By venturing into this territory, you are venturing into a land belonging to a pair of feared leaders. You have heard rumors of them...but you decide to take your chances and hope that the tales of blood and death are merely fabricated stories to scare wolves.
You have walked nearly five minutes before you realize the sound of paws stepping somewhere from behind. Deciding that you've made a mistake, you quickly turn around, but find that you cannot go any further. Standing before you is one of the mighty kings you've heard of. His blood red pelt clings over perfectly toned bands of muscle. But that isn't what causes such fear in your veins. One of his amber eyes has a horrid, bleeding scar across it, and his good eye seems to stare right through you. His face is expressionless, giving off none of his intentions. You cower away as his jaws part.
"I'm Hell Demon."
His voice was deep and cut through the air like a hot knife through butter. Right where he left off, another voice picks up from behind you. You whirl around and find yourself facing another male with steely muscles beneath his pelt, which seems to consist of every shade of brown. He had startled you, and you're amazed how you hadn't at all detected his approach.
"And I am Ghost...we're the alphas of Aurora Borealis."
His deep voice was laced thickly with a Native American accent. His own golden eyes are directing a harsh glare your way. Now you're caught in the middle...your breathing has become heavy in your panic and you're not sure which to face.
"You've foolishly trespassed into our territory. You face the one called Hell Demon's whose voice is once more addressing you. Get out, or become a corpse along our border."
It's obvious they mean business. So now it's up to you...take your chances and stay, or heed their warning and waste no time getting out with your life.

The raven colored female was still embarrassed by her actions. Despite her emotions she should have been more careful and made sure that Kal was alone when she sought him out in such a state. It was not good to appear weak and vulnerable around newcomers at the borders of Aurora. She got lucky this time with the varg here being a friend of Kalgalath’s and not a stranger or an enemy. But embarrassment still filled her at how she acted, and shame for how it had looked in front of her alpha. Yellow orbs looked on awkwardly to the two males as they finished their conversation and Kal asked her to give him a tour of the lands. Before the alpha left he mentioned that Gwaine should go to Magic’s training session. That was something else that the female needed to add to her to do list. Magic had been her best friend since the pair had first met, and she always enjoyed their time together. Having a good distraction from the tragedy that had happened recently would be good for her as well, and hopefully prevent more embarrassing moments with more newcomers in front of the King of Aurora. Once the silver brute had left, Chenzii turned her attention back to her task, and asked about the comments that Kal had made alluding to the fact that Gwaine had been here before. His vocals made her audettes perked, and she focused on his words as she stretched out her limbs quickly before they began their tour. “A shame we haven’t really, though not surprising. I never lived in Aurora. I helped Kal out in a fight a while back and he told me to return when I felt it right. Boring, I know, but that’s the whole story.” The female gave him a warm smile, disagreeing that it was a boring story. ”It is not boring. Fights are the beginnings, or endings, of adventures. My story is much less exciting. I stumbled into Aurora years ago and befriended Kal quickly after he accepted me into the pack. No exciting fights or anything like that. Will you be living in Aurora now? Or are you just visiting?” Chenzii hoped that her question was not too personal. She had only just met this male and did not want to be too intrusive too quickly, she just wanted to get to know him. Regardless of his situation the male would need a den to sleep in, whether he be visiting or staying here more permanently. “I think I’d like the tour so I can pick a place. I’ll enjoy digging my own den. Gives me a sense of accomplishment and makes me feel all manly. Lead the way, Chenzii.” The male smiled at her with his lyrics and his voice took on a fake tone, one meant to be playful and she felt herself blushing around him. It had been a long time since she had interacted with others besides her two closest friends, Kalgalath and Magic. Her own kissers widened in a smile as she began to lead him into the trees. She had been living here for years and knew every part of these lands. Her paws carried her easily through the trees, but not too quickly so that Gwaine would be able to remember his way around the terra. ”Aurora has its own personal connection to the lake in Blossom, one of the perks of living here.” She caught the sound of the river that went through the terra to the small area of the lake that was within Aurora’s territory. Her paws reached the water and she took a moment to reach down and lap at its cool taste. Yellow orbs looked over to her companion as she spoke once more. ”This area is usually peaceful, unless Kal and Sebring’s pups are running around playing.” She smiled at him once more, turning back towards the trees to continue the tour. Chenzii took the long way to get to their next destination. She weaved through the trees, making sure that he saw as much of the lands as he could. They passed some important lupines dens, Hellene and Khaleesi’s. She paused her stride, her nares pointing out the two homes that had been dug into the wall and the herb gardens growing outside. ”Those dens belong to Hellene and her daughter Khaleesi. Hellene is the best healer here, probably the best healer in Blossom honestly. Khaleesi has been training under her, as well as Sebring, for a while. If you ever feel ill or are injured, they will always help you. Or anyone in need for that matter.” Once she had given Gwaine a chance to remember where this was, in case of an emergency situation in the future, she led the way once more. ”Our last spot is the clearing where Kalgalath and Sebring hold meetings. Sometimes others, like Magic or Hellene, will hold training sessions here as well.” Her paws easily led them to the familiar spot, and she waited for him to take a look around. ”Those are some of the more important and unique parts of Aurora. You’ve picked a pretty good home here you know.” The raven colored female smiled at him once more as she waited to see if he had any questions about the territory or anything else. OOC: so since I suck and it took me forever to get this up I did this post as if it was before the pack meeting but if you wanted to change it and have the next posts be after the meeting I’m game with that =) whatever you’d like to do!
