Without a second thought Horizon and Blood Titan found themselves at a stop once more. Their little meeting, no matter how short, had covered more information than the bastard had anticipated. He had not thought that moving forward in the pack would be so seemingly easy. This did not apply to attaining his rank, but rather finding himself in line beside Titan. At first, and still somewhat now, Horizon was hesitant. Titan’s coming to power was an unusual circumstance, though Ameira had proved that her run-ins with challengers seemed to always end with them coming home to Munashii in some fashion. It was somewhat humorous, though Horizon had made it his job to make sure that these wolves were not going to tear down the lilac eyed Queen from the inside, out. And from what he could tell Blood Titan was not in it for the title. He, like the maned wolf, was just trying to make something of himself, his life, and get a second chance. The blood dipped male never spoke of what he might have been trying to forget or move past specifically, but like the kalak it seemed like a multitude of things. Each one different and needing a peculiar fix or band-aid per say. But there was no time to focus on the minutia of their past lives, it was time to realize the potential in their future existences.
The audition for gamma is to recruit a wolf to the pack. Since it’s the audition and not the official job, I would say when you find someone that decides to come back, you should bring them here with you instead of sending them back. There’s no time limit or anything of that nature, just as soon as that task is complete Ameira and I will have the final discussion regarding the rank.
Horizon listened intently to the smaller speech, hanging onto every word. This was his shot to rise up and fulfill his potential, grow a little, and learn a lot. Horizon looked to Titan and found the brute smiling at him and in return he offered a little smile himself. Well it looks as if my task has been set then, Titan. I shall call upon you when I find myself in need of your final judgment for this task. Horizon stooped and bowed to the King, I find the sun has sunk too low to find wolves of unpeculiar habits, but at dawn’s first light I’ll be on my way. I bid you farewell Titan, and should you wish to see me before I leave, or at any point, you must only call for me. The massive kalak turned away from his King, offering one last dip of his before shrugging his way into the undergrowth back towards the border and his den. The sun’s rays were dissipating into the shade of the undergrowth and darkness was once more covering the land. Horizon would catch himself some sleep before setting off in the morning.
