Seattle police looking for ‘Pokémon Go bandit’ who stole woman’s phone

Police believe he took the woman’s cellphone as she was playing the smartphone game.
Seattle police are looking for a man who reportedly stole the phone of a woman who was playing Pokémon Go at Green Lake last week.
Police believe he robbed the woman, 23, at the Green Lake Boathouse, 7351 E. Green Lake Dr. N., around 10:30 p.m. on July 11, police said.
Another man, also 23, was with the woman at the time. He tried to grab the suspect, whom police dubbed the “Pokémon Go Bandit, but the suspect apparently struck him several times and broke free, police said in a post on the department’s blotter.
The 23-year-old man suffered minor injuries, police said.
Several people tried chasing the suspect, including a woman on a bicycle who called 911 to report the robbery to police, investigators said...
