Unexpected benefits....
IP: 99.109.237.117

Yesterday I made my weekly jaunt to Missouri to buy cheaper gasoline and cigarettes and saw two policemen going into the QuickTrip before me.
I immediately went to the cashier and told her to charge me for whatever the policemen bought. She gave me an appreciative smile but, when I approached the police, I was disappointed to learn they had just stopped by for free water. I couldn't talk them into getting anything I could pay for so I just gave them a hug and thanked them for their service.
I picked up a donut for myself and returned to the cashier. Charging me for the cigarettes, she refused to charge me for the donut. She said it was her gift to me for my kindness.
Kindness is infectious. Go out and infect folks. It has unexpected benefits.
