Enocra Woodland

Pine, spruce and firs alike...
Dense coniferous forests cover the woodlands, with clearings, paths and the occasional wildberry shrub throughout. Pine, spruce and fir make up much of the forest in the east, with the forest becoming swampier in the west towards Mecor Valley. In the west, cypress trees dominate, with fallen trees creating bridges across and throughout the stillwaters.

Searching, hm? Interesting that. I nod as she speaks, my eyes narrowing in thought to betray my curiosity. So, Taika has taken up the role of a mother, no? A missing mother at that - a curious thing indeed. And so, this woman has taken it upon herself to search for her. Does such a thing allude to leadership or rather, does it allude to this woman following Taika? Has there little group lost their figurehead? I mull this over for a moment before an ear flicks and I am inclined to offer her my own small tidbit of information. "Tithe," I state simply with a sharp nod, "find him and you shall find her." It would help, too, if she found him and I was mentioned, no? Tithe is an...interesting wolf. Once a loner, once a diplomat, once a king but now a missing wolf, at least to me. If he finds that I am...helping him, or at least his companions, then perhaps he will seek me out on own accord. Two birds with one stone, no?

At her next words, I step aside slowly, tentatively almost as I open up a space alongside myself. I motion towards it with a flick of my muzzle, my tail raising slightly to indicate the matter of hierarchy in these moments - though I intend to share, I am still very much in control of this situation. I shan't be giving her the reigns any time soon. In any case, she will have access to the innards now, rich in flavor as they are. As for me, I take another piece of bloodied meat in my mouth and swallow it down in silence, my eyes never leaving her own even so.

"You say the gypsies notice many things," I begin after several moments of quiet, my posture loosening somewhat as I turn to face her once more, "I ask you then, as a pack wolf to a gypsy: should you all be trusted? Should alphas truly trust your kind in their pack if you are to travel soon after, meeting all manner of wolves and packs with the knowledge of others and their way of life at your disposal?" Everybody has a price. I wonder if the gypies have ever considered their own worth, their own price, and just what they were willing to sell or buy with it.
