Re(1): does power for interior lights start at drivers door switch?
IP: 141.139.25.158

I had several problems with my interior lights (and still do). However, the interior lights do have a constant power to them but are grounded at 3 separate points: accessory switch on headlights, map light switch, and door switches. There should be a three way ground wire coming off your headlight switch. That controls all three grounds. Check to see that your interior light between the rear seats and your map lights under your dash are connected to that 3 way ground wire. Since your headlight switch is grounded to the dash, all three sources are grounded through that switch. Hope this helps. Mark
