Boss's Decree

"For every brother you bring to our
midst, you may keep a trinket all to
yourself. She will not be sullied or traded, unless you deem otherwise. But should you bring a mare here without a new brother first, then I will consider her property of the Lagoon as a whole
and do with her as I see fit." - Garmr

Rules

• The Lagoon is where homeless stallions come to live as a brotherhood. Mares may not live here except as captives or companions for the Leaders.

• Soldiers keep mainly to fighting, Thieves keep mainly to raiding, and Associates may do both, neither, or act as diplomats. Members may issue their own battles and raids, but should generally consult the General, Marauder or Boss for permission.

• All major decisions are determined by vote, but the Boss maintains order within the Lagoon and has the final say.

• Elections for leadership positions will be held every TLI summer, provided the qualifying criteria are met.

• You can find detailed information about how the Lagoon works on the Rules page.

• Upon election, the Boss can issue a rule for members to follow during their tenure. It is up to leadership to enforce.

Raniyah

Soft brown eyes watched him as he appeared to be talking to himself, again. She was slightly amused by this...it was something he had done in the meadow as well. She watched in anticipation, wondering if she made a mistake in looking for him. It appeared he did kind of remember her. She studied his features, noticing he was tense and slightly confused at first. She smiled as he spoke her name. He did remember her, perhaps this wasn't a mistake after all. No her mistake was leaving the islands in the first place when she agreed to follow him to the Lagoon. “Yes. I am surprised you remember me, it's been awhile.” She was relieved he did remember, how awkward this would be had he not.

She noticed him hesitate as he was speaking. She stepped closer so she was with in touching distance. “I really haven't been up to much lately.” She reached her muzzle towards his neck and lipped at his mane a bit. “What about you?” She paused for a moment while gazing at him. “Been in any fights recently?” The last time they crossed paths she remembered he had been in a fight then and was injured. He didn't appear to be injured this time however.

She side stepped over so she was now standing beside him. Perhaps too bold of a move as she let her guard down slightly. She was content where she was at. Although she did put herself in a vulnerable position should he decide to reject her gestures and go after her. She didn't think that far ahead though.
