Ruieze Fields

Open fields and soft grass...
Ruieze stretches far in the midlands of Moladion, laced with streams that feed into Diveen and out of Asteraia at times. The fields are vast, filled with wildflowers and tall, soft grass; trees are sparse, as are rocks, but one can find small shrubs to hide amongst, and the grass itself. To the south of the fields, a Ruieze River widens, and the ground becomes sandy. There is a small, grassy island that can be reached from the banks, with water-birds often congregating on the island rather than the riverbanks.

While it was enjoyable to taunt the boy, it still rankled that he tried to say I had kissed him. Hell, just the thought grossed me out. I would much rather find Elara again and pressed a kiss to her face than offer it to some puny little mongrel who enjoyed sunbathing and being an incessant fool. So I pressed my prairie dogs together, frowning at the dirt that now sticks to their coats from where his saliva and mine have coated the fur before being dropped. What an annoyance. Silver-blue eyes turn to him, narrowing with suspicion as I note the way he tilts his head up with a sort of shit-eating-grin on his face. What was the boy up to now?

But once I hear his words my ears fall down and I feel my body heating with embarrassment and anger. Was this kid serious? Not only was he threatening me but now he was trying to blackmail me! I snarled then, stepping over my food and walking towards him with a stiff tail. You know, being all intimidating and stuff. I WAS still the adult here. "Stolen? Hah! You are the thief here, boy, and I'm sure your daddy knows all about your wicked ways. Just wait until I tell 'Spirane's Castellian'," and yes, I did say it in a falsetto, "all about his scheming, no good son."

With that I lift a paw and reach out to smack it against the boys head. I did still feel a niggle of doubt - what if Spirane started hunting me over some lie this kid told? No, I wouldn't allow it. But I certainly was not giving up my prairie dogs. "Just why aren't you at home anyways, Isra-Fell," I taunt. "Couldn't measure up to daddy's glory? So instead you... go lay out by the lake to muse on how insufferable your life is? Pity, isn't it." I mock frown at him, not above being a bully myself.
