Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

Sarabi

She was caught off-guard by his words, enraged even and yet her body betrayed her as she dipped her muzzle slightly and ears rested against her crown. Even though she still held dominance in her stance; his words cut deeply enough to draw her back in a neutral position. Sarabi was use to her brother and yet his wrath was never truly displayed for they were molded to well together for friction and yet it seems it is different now until she brings up Banshee. Despite her disappointment with the death of Banshee at her brothers paws his tone becomes familiar once again and she visibly relaxes her posture as if out of instinct alone.

She wanted to retort, they where born of her. He should be pleased she had created such healthy beings. Lost in her thoughts she felt his fangs in her scruff, and she yelped mostly out of surprise it wasn’t a new sensation to feel his fangs. It is what comes after that sees her struggle to get out of his grasp; his fangs drawing blood when he would dig into her flesh. She knew what was happening and at this time in her life she feared him her fighting and snarling simply turned to acceptance and whining; hoping to some how escape his wrath.

Sarabi is finally freed from the monster her brothers rage turned him into and she draws within herself keeping silent as her brother screams at her. “I did not persuade you brother this sin is your own, but ours to bare.” she growled in in fury turning her head from Underidge's gaze. Her mind numbs and hazes before she turned from him her muscles stiff and body sore from where his fangs met flesh. She glowered at him once the pain evident in her eyes as she lowered her form to curl upon itself. “Why?” it was a simple question and perhaps she had an idea of the answer and yet she needed it from his own maw, for his actions gnawed at her mind.

She lifted her gaze once more to him her mixed emotions dripping like a cloak of darkness around her form. “Are we just ghosts Underidge? Echoes of what use to be? Do I still have a brother, protector, and companion?” Perhaps it was emotions that she didn’t wish to show and yet her voice remains pained and sorrowful as she interrogates him. Things where easier in their youth, they had been the shadow of one another; Sarabi was only left with haunting thoughts and cherished memories.
