Working at the festival accounts for 45% of my meager budget. It serves 3 purposes:
1. It gives me emergency money when my car breaks down or something goes wrong in my house.
2. It gets my name and services out there so people can call me during the rest of the year.
3. I make a difference. I help people.
Pathetically, if it wasn't for the festival and my pathetic job at Cinemark, no one would even know I existed on the planet.
